Bridge II Sports is a non-profit organization that partnerships and develops adaptive sports programs for adults and youth with disabilities. We help to host several different activities each week to help people with disabilities develop confidence, self-esteem, and independence. These activities require Bridge II Sports staff and volunteers to load sports equipment and wheelchairs into their vehicles so that people from all backgrounds can participate, usually free of charge.
We were lucky enough to be chosen as one of 500 non-profit organizations to compete in Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good Facebook Campaign.
Each voting day, five organizations will compete against each other on Facebook in hopes of winning a vehicle of their choice. Bridge II Sports’ voting day is on July 5, 2012. Voting starts at 10 am EDT and runs until 11:59 pm EDT on July 5. Voters must be a Facebook user who is currently located in the U.S. We are asking you to take three minutes out of your day to vote for us. Winning a vehicle from Toyota will mean that Bridge II Sports can continue to develop and host adaptive sports activities throughout North Carolina. Instructions are below.
