Summer Camp for individuals with disabilities 17 – 30 years old

July 16-19, 2012-Wilmington, NC - The disAbility Resource Center is hosting a FREE summer Career Camp for individuals with disabilities between the ages 17-30.  The purpose of the Career Camp is to provide youth with the opportunity to explore and learn about various career fields.  Campers will have an opportunity to listen to guest speakers with expertise in various career fields.  Also, each camper will be able to  take an online Career Assessment Evaluation.

 

The camp will be offered Monday through Thursday the week of July 16, 2012 from the hours 11am-2pm.  Monday through Wednesday each camper will need to bring their lunch.  On Thursday we will be having pizza for lunch.  At the conclusion of the camp on Thursday, July 19th, each camper will receive a Participation Certificate.

 

Each interested individual will need to contact the disAbility Resource Center to obtain a camper application.  The applications will need to be received by Wednesday, July 11, 2012.
