I reside in Kinston, and I am a Mental Health Consumer.  I have been active in independent living by serving on the board of Disability Rights NC and my local housing authority.  I also work monitoring the Federal Department of Health and Human Services in Washington DC.  In my spare time I am into fitness and playing with my golden retriever, Lucky.  I am on the NCSILC to help individuals with disabilities achieve independent living and functioning.
