Just sending out a friendly reminder that our September meeting is this month on September 19, 2012 from 6:00pm-7:30pm. This is a time for you to come together and basically form a “Take Action” group. We will be discussing YOUR concerns that you have regarding accessibility in the community and also a time to socialize with other deaf and hard of hearing in the community.
Please let me know if you need any type of accommodations prior to the meeting by September 13, 2012.

NC Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services in partnership with the NC State Rehabilitation Council will host an Input Session & Public Forum.
Previous and current clients their family members, VR staff, stakeholders and employers are encouraged to attend to share feedback on the services provided under the VR program.

September 21, 2012 from 4:00pm-5:30pm at the Chapel Hill Community Center Meeting Room: 120 S. Estes Drive Chapel Hill, NC. This group will happen the THIRD Friday of every month in Chapel Hill, NC from now until January! So if you have friends or know someone who is in this area and cannot make it to Wake County, please refer this group to them! ***This is the FIRST meeting ever so parents are welcome to come and learn more about the program and meet the staff***
