Executive Committee Meeting
October 3, 2016
Members present: Keith Greenarch, chair, Rene Cummins, vice chair, Ping Miller, secretary, Kay Miley, member at large, Mark Steele.  Staff: Debbie Hippler, Freida Moore
Members absent: Kimlyn Lambert

The meeting was called to order at 10:05am by Chair, Keith Greenarch
Items discussed:
* Meetings using Roberts Rules of Order.  This will be discussed at the combined meeting Dec. 12 with the CIL directors and after SILC congress
* Reporting Tools, this will be discussed at the Dec. 12th meeting with the CIL Directors
* A mediator will be hired for the Dec. 12th meeting with the CIL directors.  This meeting will be held at the Country Suites at 5219 Page Rd. Durham from 9am to 3pm with a working lunch.
* Remaining Part B funds were discussed.  Vocational Rehabilitation is waiting to be sent the amounts to be awarded back to the CILs.  Mark will work on getting all the CILs to send their final P&E from September.  The minutes of October 2015 will be sent to Pamela Lloyd-Ogoke to verify the vote to award the remaining funds back to the CILs with balances.
* A follow up meeting with Vocational Rehabilitation has been requested to gain clarification on reporting and funding issues.
* Debbie left the meeting.  Freida Moore joined.  The balance of Debbie’s comp time and vacation were discussed.  Debbie has to stay within her 26 hours each week and 52 hours per pay period.  The error in vacation hours was resolved.
